If I had a dollar for every time an Artist asked me “What do you think about me getting an agent?”, I’d be a TRILLIONAIRE!! When I was thinking of writing about the subject of Agencies I must admit I was a bit reticent. Only because of my personal experience. I feel most creatives NEED a business minded liaison!

One may have an idea about where they’d like to see themselves in 20years from now but don’t realize that there are markers, signs, and people who may assist you on your journey. 

 

Keep in mind God and yourself are the manifestors of your life story and within that story you are sent helpers…..because there are just some things we shouldn’t and couldn’t do alone. Being honest with yourself about yourself, you should know what you need and what you don’t need.

If you know that you are no good at procuring work or perhaps no so good at negotiations regarding your day rates the be rest assured you may just want to enlist a professional representative for you. It’s not so easy for some to multitask this way for various reasons.
